 As part of our services when drawing a Will we:

 Advise you about the best tax and efficient solution for your assets in Spain.

 Draw your Will in English and Spanish according to your wishes and your circumstances. Please remember that Spanish Law does not accept joint wills between married couples.

 Assit you before the Notary Public at the signature of your Will.

Company Formations

This service includes the following steps. However, please contact us if you need any other service to be provided as we may be able to help you with.

·         Request to the Central Merchandise Register the certificate stating that the company name you applied for can be used.

·         Application for the CIF number, or company tax identification number.

·         Writing of the official statutes for the company.

·         Assistance at the Notary Public when signing the documents of the Deeds of Incorporation.

·         Payment of the Company Taxes (Impuesto sobre Operaciones Societarias), 1% of the initial company capital.

·         Registration of the company at the local Mercantile Register.

·         Any relevant change of the company which needs to be notarized, such as company’s address, company administrators, capital increase or decreased.

Inheritances

As part of our services we will help you to:

 Identify the deceased’s assets in Spain.

 Establish which law should apply to the inheritance.

 Do the necessary searches to find out if there is a valid Spanish will, a valid English or any other will that may affect the assets in Spain.

 Coordinate with your foreign solicitors, all the documentation needed.

 Study which person is entitled to inherit the Spanish assets if the deceased person did not leave a valid Will.

 Coordinate with the notary to transfer title of the assets in Spain to the persons entitled.

Work out the taxes to be paid and coordinate the payment of those taxes.

Register the title of the new owners at the land registry office.
